Grounds Maintenance Assistant
Salary scale points 11 – 13 (£15,507 - £16,491) 37 hrs per week
Fawley Parish Council are seeking an enthusiastic and hard working person to join their Grounds Maintenance Team based at Gang Warily, Fawley.
You will assist in the maintenance of open spaces to include grass cutting, strimming, litter picking and other tasks as required.
A full driving licence is required and experience of tractor driving and use of grounds machinery would be an advantage.
Previous experience is preferred but training will be provided to the right candidate.
Applicants should have a desire to provide a first class service to the people of Fawley and to fit in well with the other members of the team.

Fawley Parish Council is seeking to appoint a Finance and Transparency Officer.
Experience of budgetary control, analysis, VAT, invoicing, purchase orders, operating a computerised payroll system, preparation of year end accounts, experience of computerised financial management systems and preparation of Annual Accounts is essential whilst the role would also include the production of appropriate transparency documents within the statutory timeframes.

Gymnastics/Trampolining Coach Required
Gang Warily is looking for a self employed coach to take a lead role in delivering a variety of gymnastics/trampolining sessions as part of Gang Warily Gymnastics Club from 01 Sept 2017.
Either a UKCC Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Gymnastics or British Gymnastics Level 2 in the correct discipline(s) is essential.
Previous experience in coaching, as well as qualifications in, Pre-school Gymnastics, Trampolining and Double Mini Tramp, would be advantageous.
The remuneration for delivering these sessions would be £15-£20 an hour on a self-employed basis, depending on qualifications/experience.
The sessions that are available for a lead coach to take over are as follows:
- Monday Morning Baby Gym/Gym Tots (9:00-13:00, 4 sessions, ages: 5 months - 4 yrs)
- Monday Evening Gymnastics (15:30-19:15, 3 sessions, ages: 4 yrs +)
- Tuesday Morning Disabled Trampolining (9:30-12:30, 6 individual 30 min sessions)
- Friday Gym Tots (9:00-12:30, 3 sessions, ages: walking – 4 yrs)
- Friday Trampolining (16:00-15:45, 1 session with 2 trampolines)
